RJ CORMAN RAILROAD (WITH NS)- ST. MARY’S & MINSTER, OH LINES, 1990s (1-West Productions™): (Filmography by Ron Kuhn). In this video we show early days of the RJ Corman Railroad on their RJCW lines. In the early 1990s, the lines would become their St. Mary’s Main Line (ex-LE&W/NKP Sandusky Division-LE&W District/N&W Muncie Div.-Frankfort Dist./NS Ft. Wayne/Lake Division-Frankfort District) and Minster Branch (owned by the WORA, purchased from NS in the early 1990s. This line was the ex-LE&W/NKP Sandusky Div.-LE&W Dist.-Minster Branch/N&W Muncie/Ft. Wayne Div.-Frankfort Dist.-Minster Br./NS Lake Div.-Frankfort dist.-Minster Br.). RJCW leased and took over operations on the Minster Branch. RJCW owned the St. Mary’s line just west of Lima, OH to Celina, OH, and leased the line from Celina to near the OH/IN State Line, west of Coldwater, OH.
See RJCW extending the track & track work south at Minster, OH for local industries, RJCW freights and switching, F units on their Old KY Dinner Passenger Train, older GP units, SOU caboose, St. Mary’s Depot (became RJCW Offices- ex-LE&W/NKP/N&W/NS Depot), and more. Also see towns of Coldwater, Celina, St. Mary’s, New Bremen, IN/OH State Line, Lima Yard (NS), St. Joseph, etc. in OH, and Portland, IN. We also see NS stone trains to St. Louis, MO using the to-be RJCW St. Mary’s line, and a special wide load NS train with RJCW’s help on RJCW’s St. Mary’s Main Line after RJC’s take over of the line.
