NORFOLK SOUTHERN 1980s- N&W Vol. 12 AUDIO: This audio album covers NS on the N&W side of the system, during the early years of the merger with the SOU. Listen to sounds of classic EMD & GE locomotives & freight cars, as we venture around different areas near Bellevue, OH, catching various train. A unique thing about listening to audio compared to video, is that it adds to the listener’s imagination. We hear various EMD & GE locomotives, freight cars with flat wheels & tight guage, jointed rail & crossovers, crossing gate bells, nature sounds, & more. All tracks recorded in Panning Stereo, using directional mics placed opposite of each other, to give a real train passing by experience. Each audio cut has a description of each train. 3/87
