Keith’s Trains Series™ (from the camera of Keith Lehman, a RR Series from 1-West Productions™), Title #116 COLORADO SHORT RR SUBJECTS WITH TRAIN RIDES 2010:

ROYAL GORGE PARK & ROYAL GORGE TRAIN RIDE- take an open car train ride, see the Royal Gorge, a suspension bridge, & a hanging RR Bridge.  Also see the incline railway and Arkansas River from the train.   From the bottom of the gorge, a train passes by.  Also in Canon City, CO we see both depots, ATSF & D&RGW, & train, & C&S Shay 8 on display- 27 minutes.

Next-CUMBRES & TOLTEC SCENIC RR- Chama, NM, & Cumbres, CO, & Cumbres Pass- elevation 10,022 feet.  Locomotives running and stored, yards, depots, shops, engine house, coaling tower, & equipment.  Since the Cumbres & Toltec had a bridge out between Chama and Cumbres, we will do a complete series of DVD’s on Cumbres & Toltec later- 31 minutes.

Next is DURANGO & SILVERTON NARROW GAUGE RR- Durango & Silverton, CO and along the way.  Several sequences of pacing the 481, train ride- both single & double-headed. Arrive at Silverton- both by ttain and automobile.  Auto trip from Durango to Silverton- October Aspens are gorgeous from both train and automobile- 64 minutes.  10/10
