Keith’s Trains Series™ (From the camera of Keith Lehman) Railroad DVD Title #98 CSX & AMTRAK FOLKSTON, GA FUNNEL 2009:  Folkston is located on the CSXT double track main line about 40 miles north of Jacksonville, FL.  It seves as a funnel for about 95% of railroad traffic into and out of Florida. The tracks split north of town, goes west to Waycross, GA, and north to Savannah, GA.  We filmed from the viewing stand and the old depot.  We see modern diesels from both builders and three different Amtrak trains, including the Auto Train, Silver Star, & Silver Meteor.  In freight, we see many new GE’s, ES44DC’s, ES44AH’s, and the older AC4400’s and SD70MAC’s.  Also SD40-2’s, SD50’s, and B40-8’s on double stacks, container, coal, stone, merchandise, and the Tropicanna Juice train.  5/09
