CONRAIL REMEMBERED™ VOL. 2 (from 1-West Productions™) : From our Featured Series, we now have available our Series of CONRAIL REMEMBERED™, where we preserve the great railroad of Conrail. In Vol. 2, we continue where we left off in Vol. 1, with more Conrail action in the NE IN area towns of Muncie, Selma, Union City, Winchester, and Richmond. See run-through power of MP, UP, and ATSF, older standard cab EMD & GE equipment, and the introduction of the newer wide cab units of the time. See run-through mix freights, a rail train, TOFC, several locals, and switch action. Most of the action is on the ex-NYC/PC/CR Ohio Central/Indiana Div., which became CR’s Indianapolis Div. (Bee Line). We also see some action on the ex-PRR/PC Richmond Branch, Cincinnati Div. Part of this line was purchased by N&W from PC, so the N&W would have a different route to Cincinnati, OH, and through New Castle, IN to Ft. Wayne, IN. In this video, this line is part of the NS’s New Castle District, Ft. Wayne Div. We also see a few NS freights on NS’s New Castle Dist. with CR units. Action is from 1989 and 1990, with fallen flag freight names on freight cars, CR transfer cabooses, and more. Train action Filmography was from the camera of Keith Lehman.
