Our website address is: https://www.1westproductions.com. 1-West Productions ™ Railroad Audio & Video (1-West Productions ™ LLC) owns and operates this website, and is a video and audio production company, producing and selling mainly railroad-related video and audio material. The material that we produce is our material, we own the Copyrights, or other filmographer’s material that we legally obtained through purchase where the original owner’s Copyrights were transferred to us per contract. Other arrangements may be through contracts or licenses, and with permission from the owner of the material. (We comply with US Copyright Laws, do not deal in “boot-leg” material, and we monitor to make sure our material is not being used illegaly as well through other outlets.)
We believe privacy is important, we comply with current Privacy Laws, including GDPR, California CPRA and CCPA Compliancy. We respect your privacy, and will never sell, nor give out your personal information that you provide to us when placing an order, contacting us, or signing up for our E-Newsletter. We do not collect from our customers Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, financial information, or any other financial or health-related personal information. We do collect your name, billing and mailing address, email, and phone number, strictly for communication purposes between us the seller and you the customer, related to your orders, and in order to obtain payment (we currently use PayPal for online purchase payments on our Webstore), and to correctly ship out your order. We also collect information on which products you ordered, to correctly fill and ship your order.
We also will not send unsolicited emails to you, but we will send periodic product updates, railroad news, an/or current promotions, and new/updated product news from our E-Newsletters by email, when you make a purchase, or when you request to be signed up. You may op-out of these E-Newsletters at any time, by contacting us (we supply an Unsubscribe/Contact Us link at the bottom of every E-Newsletter). With each purchase, we will send a catalog/product list by email, and a paper catalog along with your order. We can stop any of these items being sent to you with your request at any time.
Any 3rd party links/websites, including PayPal, are not affiliated with us and our Terms Of Service. Their Terms Of Service, including Privacy Rules, may be different from ours, and we have no control over their Terms. We only at this time use PayPal for accepting payments for our products online that we sell.
Comments
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

We use SSL https Security, Sitelock Malware Scanner, and a Firewall for security on our website. We do not store any customer information (as listed above) on our website any longer than necessary in order to help process any recent orders. - The Shield Security plugin never stores any sensitive, personally identifiable information in any cookie at any time.

The Shield Security plugin has an Audit Trail feature that will log the following information:
- Audit Trail message that may include email addresses
- Logged-in username (where applicable)
- Originating IP address of the request
For logged-in users this represents information that may be used to locate (by IP address) and identify individuals and their activity on the site.
This information is stored for security purposes by the site administrator.
This data will be retained and then automatically purged from the database after a fixed time period, as determined by the site administrator. (Currently this is set to 14 days.)
